WOOD BAT OPTION!

I would like welcome you to another season with Rowland Heights Youth Baseball League and to introduce myself as Rowland Heights Youth Baseball’s newly elected President.
To begin with, I would like to personally thank all of you for helping us keep our promise to our children by making this a fun and interactive league! As RHYB’s president, I would like to reinforce RHYB’s open door policy by inviting any questions, comments and concerns you have about our league and insure full transparency in how we will continue our success. Additionally, I would like to encourage you to provide any feedback and ideas you have in helping us accomplish our goal in making this a stellar season!
A bit about myself, I have been with RHYB for 8 years and have been involved in coaching and managing teams during regular and winter ball seasons. I graduated from Rowland High School in 1999 and joined the U.S. Armed Forces shortly after that. I am currently employed with BCBG MAXAZRIA Group as a Loss Prevention investigator and have continuously been a part of the Rowland Heights community supporting our youth athletic programs along with my friends and family. I have been happily married for 5 years to Valerie Luna and have 4 wonderful children, Anabelle, John, Juliana, and AJ.
Along with a newly appointed RHYB board, I vow to live up to our mission: to inspire and nurture the children within the communities of Rowland Heights/Diamond Bar, La Puente, West Covina and Walnut – one child and one family at a time.
We will additionally continue working on RHYB’s success in making a fun and safe environment to nurture our children and help them gain the lifelong skills to aid in their success. We greatly appreciate your dedication to this league and with your help we will continue to make RHYB a success!

I look forward to seeing you at the park and your kids on the fields this baseball season and for seasons to come!

With much gratitude,

Andy Luna, RHYB President
